Dr. Suzanne Fariello, DVM, CVA
A 2000 graduate of Cornell Veterinary School, she has lived and worked in Washington County for over 20 years. After obtaining her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from The Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida, her career took an exciting turn into the world of integrative medicine. Other professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, client education, Chinese Medicine, Food Therapy and managing her veterinary practice to its highest potential. She enjoys yoga, cooking for her family (two legged and four) and spending time with her husband and three kids. Dr. Fariello is happily owned by her very busy terrier Wren, her black lab Goose, her 2 cats Tocho and Enzo Ferreri, as well as a beta fish named after her grandfather, Larry. And she really, really loves her work.

Dr. Jessica Roosevelt, DVM
A graduate of Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Roosevelt practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Cape Elizabeth, Maine for three years before she and her husband, Pete relocated to Salem NY. She became an associate at CVVH in 2001. Her interests include drawing, painting, and spending time outside. Dr. Roosevelt lives in Hebron with her husband Pete, 2 cats and one dog.

Cassandra Conety LVT, CCMP Office Manager
Shushan native, returned after graduating from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2010. She joined the CVVH team in 2012. In 2016, she completed her certification in Canine Massage Therapy from Brandenburg Massage Therapy School. She lives with her husband, George, and two children, Charlotte and Bo. Her interests include gardening, hiking and being outdoors.

Nicole Hughes, LVT
Nicole is a 2003 graduate of Suny Delhi and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for over 20 years. She lives in Eagle Bridge with her son, Keene and their beagle, Ella. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Casey Haughney, LVT
A 2015 graduate of Suny Delhi, followed by graduating with a Bachelors in 2017 from Suny Cobleskill, Casey has been a practicing technician for 8 years. She recently moved to the area with her pup Xena. Casey spends her time outside of work caring for the animals on her hobby farm as well as exploring her love for crafting.

Samantha Kenyon, Vet Assistant, Client Receptionist
Sam started working at CVVH in 2021 after working in Fundraising and Development for various non-profits for the last 10 years. Sam graduated from Bennington College in 2009 and received her Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2020. She rescued her first cat, Leonard, from the streets of Brooklyn, NY after graduation and has been fostering and rescuing cats ever since. She lives in Hoosick Falls with her husband Jon, their 9 rescued cats and a multitude of fosters.

Catherine Lynip, Vet Assistant
A 2024 graduate of Houghton University with a B.S. in Equine Management, Catherine decided to try something new
and started working here as a vet assistant in late 2024 (which she enjoys very much.) In her spare time Catherine
likes to ski, ice skate, garden, paint, and play Minecraft. She lives with her parents in the village of Cambridge (Town of Jackson) with her two cats, Tigerlily and Night Whisperer (She and her sister were going through a Warrior Cats phase at the time), two dwarf goats (Daisy and Seraphina), and several Darkling beetles from the Sonoran Desert (no names).

Manya Vartdal, Client Receptionist
Born in Cambridge, Manya grew up in Southwest Florida, spending summers in this area. She has a BA from Southern Vermont College with a background in Behavior Therapy, Education and Administration. Manya permanently moved to Cambridge in 2023 and started here in 2024, she has two grown daughters, an old farmhouse and a crazy rescue dog named Fern.

Lisa Shaw, Business Manager
A Shushan native, and graduate of Salem Central School. Lisa enjoys knitting, gardening & helping others. She is owned by her cat, ‘Boots’. After acquiring extensive experience in Human Health Care Management, Lisa made the transition to veterinary practice management in 2013.
